A 26-inch MCRN Scirocco Class Heavy Cruiser model from The Expanse, measuring 68 cm. Fully colour-printed in PLA and supplied assembled for display.

Choosing between the two: the 22-inch (57 cm) is the shelf version and comes with an assembled-or-kit choice. This 26-inch is 11 cm longer and arrives assembled only. If the space you have in mind is under about 60 cm, take the 22-inch.

Is this a physical model or a digital file?
This listing is for a physical 3D-printed Scirocco model, fully assembled and shipped from Sydney. No STL or digital file is included.

26-inch or 22-inch?
26 inch is 68 cm and assembled only. 22 inch is 57 cm and can be bought as a kit. Under 60 cm of space, take the 22-inch.

How big is it exactly?
68 cm / 26 inches. Allow about 72 cm.

Does it arrive assembled?
Yes.

Is it coloured?
Yes. The colour is printed into the model using multi-colour 3D printing — each colour is laid down in place as it prints, not painted on afterwards, so it cannot chip or flake.

Is it heavy?
It is a large hollow PLA print, so it is lighter than it looks, but it needs a stable surface.

How it's made

Printed in multi-colour PLA at a fine layer height, then hand-assembled and sanded back where needed. The colours are printed into the material rather than painted on, so hull striping and panel markings cannot chip or flake. Made and finished in Sydney, Australia.

An honest note: this is FDM printing. Fine layer lines are visible up close — that is how the process works, not a defect. At normal display distance they disappear.
