Description
A 22-inch MCRN Scirocco Class Heavy Cruiser model from The Expanse, measuring 57 cm. Fully colour-printed in PLA and available assembled or as a DIY kit.
Choosing between the two Scirocco sizes: this 22-inch fits most bookshelves and is the only one of the pair offered as a DIY kit. The 26-inch (68 cm) is 11 cm longer and comes assembled only. If you have under about 60 cm to play with, this is the one.
Fully Assembled arrives finished. Kits (Not assembled) ships as printed parts.

22-inch or 26-inch?
22 inch is 57 cm and can be bought as a kit. 26 inch is 68 cm, assembled only.
How big is it exactly?
57 cm / 22 inches. Allow about 62 cm.
What is in the kit?
The same printed parts, unassembled. No glue included.
Is it coloured?
Yes. The colour is printed into the model using multi-colour 3D printing — each colour is laid down in place as it prints, not painted on afterwards, so it cannot chip or flake.
Will layer lines show?
Up close, yes. Normal for FDM, invisible at display distance.
How it's made
Printed in multi-colour PLA at a fine layer height, then hand-assembled and sanded back where needed. The colours are printed into the material rather than painted on, so hull striping and panel markings cannot chip or flake. Made and finished in Sydney, Australia.
An honest note: this is FDM printing. Fine layer lines are visible up close — that is how the process works, not a defect. At normal display distance they disappear.
