20 Inch Razorback Racing Pinnace (Large)

This 20-inch Razorback racing pinnace from The Expanse is a physical, multi-colour PLA ship model. Julie Mao's racing ship arrives fully assembled and ready to display.

Fully assembled and colour-printed. The hull is long and narrow, so allow about 55 cm of run; it needs almost no depth.

Sizes available: 13 inches (about 33 cm) for a desk, this 20-inch, and 26 inches (about 66 cm) as a centrepiece.

This is a finished physical PLA display model, not an STL or digital download.

How big is it?
About 51 cm long. Allow around 55 cm of shelf.

Which size is most popular?
20 inches — it fits a standard bookshelf while still showing the hull lines.

Does it arrive assembled?
Yes.

Is it coloured?
Yes. The colour is printed into the model using multi-colour 3D printing — each colour is laid down in place as it prints, not painted on afterwards, so it cannot chip or flake.

Can I get it as a kit?
This one is supplied assembled. Ask if you would prefer a kit.

How it's made

Printed in multi-colour PLA at a fine layer height, then hand-assembled and sanded back where needed. The colours are printed into the material rather than painted on, so hull striping and panel markings cannot chip or flake. Made and finished in Sydney, Australia.

An honest note: this is FDM printing. Fine layer lines are visible up close — that is how the process works, not a defect. At normal display distance they disappear.
