The 20-inch USS Enterprise-A model is a large physical Star Trek display ship, 3D printed in PLA and made in Sydney. Choose pre-assembled or DIY kit and fully coloured or glow finish.

Fully colored or Glow in the dark? Fully colored is the screen-accurate scheme. Glow in the dark uses phosphorescent filament on the hull so the ship reads as a silhouette in a dark room after it has been under light — it is a different look, not an add-on.

Choosing a size: 52 cm needs a wide shelf or sideboard; allow about 56 cm. The 17-inch Constitution Refit NCC-1701-A Enterprise is the same ship at a size that fits a normal bookshelf.

Yes. The colour is printed into the model using multi-colour 3D printing — each colour is laid down in place as it prints, not painted on afterwards, so it cannot chip or flake.

How it's made

Printed in multi-colour PLA at a fine layer height, then hand-assembled and sanded back where needed. The colours are printed into the material rather than painted on, so hull pennants, registry numbers and aztec panelling cannot chip or flake. Made and finished in Sydney, Australia.

An honest note: this is FDM printing. Fine layer lines are visible up close — that is how the process works, not a defect. At normal display distance they disappear.
