19-inch Excelsior Class NCC-1701-B Enterprise

The 19-inch USS Enterprise-B model is a physical Star Trek display ship, 3D printed in PLA and fully assembled in Sydney. Choose default or custom registry and fully coloured or glow finish.

Fully colored or Glow in the dark? Fully colored is the screen-accurate scheme. Glow in the dark uses phosphorescent filament on the hull so the ship reads as a silhouette in a dark room after it has been under light — it is a different look, not an add-on.

Default or Customized? Default prints the NCC-1701-B registry. Customized lets you specify a different Excelsior-class registry — send the number with your order. Same price either way.

At 50 cm this needs about 54 cm of clear run. The Excelsior is a long hull with a slim profile, so depth is not the constraint.

Is it coloured?
Yes. The colour is printed into the model using multi-colour 3D printing — each colour is laid down in place as it prints, not painted on afterwards, so it cannot chip or flake.

How it's made

Printed in multi-colour PLA at a fine layer height, then hand-assembled and sanded back where needed. The colours are printed into the material rather than painted on, so hull pennants, registry numbers and aztec panelling cannot chip or flake. Made and finished in Sydney, Australia.

An honest note: this is FDM printing. Fine layer lines are visible up close — that is how the process works, not a defect. At normal display distance they disappear.
