A physical 15-inch SSV Normandy SR1 model from Mass Effect, colour-printed in PLA and hand-assembled in Sydney. This fully assembled display model represents the original Alliance stealth frigate before the Cerberus rebuild.

How big is it?
15 inches / about 38 cm. Allow 42 cm on a shelf.

What is the difference from the SR2?
The SR1 is the original Alliance ship; the SR2 is the larger Cerberus rebuild. See 20-Inch SSV Normandy SR2.

Is this a finished SSV Normandy SR1 model or a digital STL?
It is a physical, fully assembled display model — not a digital download.

Does it come with a stand?
It ships as shown in the photos.

Is it coloured?
Yes. The colour is printed into the model using multi-colour 3D printing — each colour is laid down in place as it prints, not painted on afterwards, so it cannot chip or flake.

How it's made

Printed in PLA at a fine layer height, then hand-assembled and sanded back where needed. Made and finished in Sydney, Australia.

An honest note: this is FDM printing. Fine layer lines are visible up close — that is how the process works, not a defect.
