13 Inch Razorback Racing Pinnace

This 13-inch Razorback racing pinnace from The Expanse is a physical, multi-colour PLA ship model. The desk-sized version of Julie Mao's ship arrives fully assembled.

This is the smallest of the three Razorback sizes and the one that fits anywhere: a desk, a cabinet shelf, a windowsill. Allow about 36 cm.

Sizes available: this 13-inch, 20 inches (about 51 cm), and 26 inches (about 66 cm).

Is this a physical model or a digital file?
This is a finished physical PLA display model, not an STL or digital download.

How big is it?
About 33 cm long. It fits almost anywhere.

Which Razorback size should I get?
13-inch for a desk, 20-inch for a shelf, 26-inch as a centrepiece.

Does it arrive assembled?
Yes.

Is it coloured?
Yes. The colour is printed into the model using multi-colour 3D printing — each colour is laid down in place as it prints, not painted on afterwards, so it cannot chip or flake.

Is the detail still good at this size?
The Razorback is a clean, simple hull, so it holds up well small.

How it's made

Printed in multi-colour PLA at a fine layer height, then hand-assembled and sanded back where needed. The colours are printed into the material rather than painted on, so hull striping and panel markings cannot chip or flake. Made and finished in Sydney, Australia.

An honest note: this is FDM printing. Fine layer lines are visible up close — that is how the process works, not a defect. At normal display distance they disappear.
